Ron is a representative of Recovery International and is the leader of the local chapter of Recovery International. He studied and taught communications as an instructor at Brigham Young University. Nina is a licensed acupuncturist and graduate of the Traditional Chinese Medical College of Hawaii. Nina is trained extensively in acupuncture techniques including the NADA Protocol, and has traveled to Kenya with volunteer relief efforts, providing acupuncture to heroine addicts in a treatment center in Mombasa to alleviate withdrawal symptoms and improve addiction recovery rates. Siegfried and Susan Othmer have been active in the development of neurofeedback for some twenty-five years. With an initial focus on ADHD children their work has increasingly migrated to the more serious childhood afflictions such as autism, epilepsy, childhood Bipolar Disorder, Tourette Syndrome, trauma conditions, and developmental delay. Another key focus of the work has been on PTSD and traumatic brain injury among our returning veterans, through their non-profit organization, Homecoming for Veterans. Psychologist Dr Beall is the Director and founder of the Trauma Awareness and Treatment Center in Salt Lake City, a non profit organization. This week Healing Talk welcomes Dr. Klayne Rasmussen, of IntraLife Performance Centers. As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) Dr. Rasmussen has 18 years of therapy and training experience.
